About the cheese shed

In 2021, we began hosting in a space that was once used to age cheese and meats on the historic Napa property where we make our wine. It was originally built in the 1870’s by the Kruezer family. Over the years it has served for various uses, but is now home to our Napa tasting space! The Cheese Shed provides a rustic retreat surrounded by the vineyards of Coombsville in which to enjoy our wines. We feel this space reflects the Napa we know and love and feel fortunate to showcase our wines here. Join us for a tasting hosted by Director of Hospitality, Daniel Bell or Estate Host, Mark Brooks!

MEET DANIEL BELL - Director of hospitality

Daniel started with us in July of 2021 and is now our Director of Hospitality. He joined our team with an extensive winemaking background, having made eight vintages around the world (now nine). Dan’s winemaking knowledge, attention to detail and genuine interest in others has helped build a hospitality program rooted in experience.

Daniel currently splits time between Napa & Tuscany, overseeing the development of our hospitality program at Borgo Bonelli, a soon-to-be luxury hotel & state-of-the-art winery opening in Fall of 2024.
